Located in the south of Burgundy, Thevenet and Fils has been family owned for three generations and started with just three hectares of vines. Today, sons Benjamin, Jonathan and Aurélien run the vineyard and it has expanded to thirty hectares and they produce a dozen appellations. Over the years, the Thevenet family has been making wine from their estate vineyards while also running a successful grape vine nursery business for many family-owned domaines in Burgundy and Champagne. Chardonnay is the dominant grape grown at this estate and this wine is sourced from four seperate parcels on the property from vines that average 45 years of age. Tasting notes of tropical fruit and apple complement this bright, mineral driven wine making it a great pairing for grilled fish with lots of herbs or fresh seasonal vegetables in a bright vinaigrette.
