Three 'Evangelho Vineyard' - Zinfandel - Contra Costa County

The Evangelho Zinfandel is sourced from ancient vines in Contra Costa County. The wine is a blend of 84% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Sirah and 3% Mataro. Vibrant in color and bright on the palate, the Evangelho bursts with blue fruit flavors, ripe peach (yes peach), violets, supple tannins, and perfect acidity. The wine shows staggering ancient vine concentration with a briary density, and silken chewiness with a velour-like texture. Decant and enjoy with dry-rubbed baby back ribs.
