This family-run winery was founded in 1999 by husband and wife team Fausto Albanesi and Adriana Galasso after inheriting a parcel of family vineyard in the Abruzzo region of Italy from Adriana’s father, who first planted vines in 1972. Organically cultivated and grown on steep hillsides, this full-bodied wine is harvested by hand, followed by a spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and a one year aging in Clayver ceramic barrels. In your glass expect to find notes of citrus, honey, and white flowers paired with a lean acidity and minerality. Pair with a creamy risotto, cacio e pepe, or fried fish dishes.
