Founded in 2000, the Pizzolo had one goal: produce world class wines while working primarily with the Montepulciano varietal. Located within one of Italy's most beautiful national parks, Valle Reale's vineyards enjoy constant cool breezes and only reach perfect ripening temperatures in late fall, creating wines that are elegant and interesting. Made with certified organic grapes and 100% Trebbiano, this wine is rich in bright green apple, melon and lemon flavors, as well as refined floral notes and a flinty minerality that provides complexity and depth. It would make a great companion to roasted poultry, grilled vegetables or spaghetti alla carbonara.
