Nestled in France's southerly Languedoc region, Veema's vineyard lies at an elevation of 500 feet. Artifacts have shown that Romans are known to have grown vines in this area before Benedictine monks culivated grapes in the 9th century. This fruit for this blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre varietals is sustainably farmed before being aged for 6 months in new French oak and bottled at the property. Notes rich black fruit, vanilla, spice and violets make this an easy pairing for lamb ragu or roasted vegetables.
