Ventisei Vino - Toscano Rosso

'Ventisei' means '26' in Italian - and it was this age that winemaker Eline created her first wines after watching her mother, Virginie, take over Avignonesi winery in Montepulciano, Tuscany, and becoming fascinated with the way she and her team walked the vineyards and cared for every single bunch of grapes. This cuvee is primarily Sangiovese with just a touch of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, all organically farmed. The end result rich red berry and plum character with just the right amount of baking spice and underbrush. Pair this one with grilled pork, savory sweet potato or cured meats.
