The grape Furmint dates back to Roman times and has enjoyed a long history. It is the lead grape in Hungary's Tokaji. Verus started their production with this grape in the 2007 vintage. Several years later they received many accolades and wine awards for the quality of this Furmint. and for good reason. Tropical fruits like quince and kiwi dominate the palate then evolve into a waxy and almost floral finish.
