The Houyi Vineyard is up on Pritchard Hill in Napa Valley. It is one of the most impeccable sites in the valley. The Chang family spared no expense when designing the vineyard layout. Farmed by David Abreu and his team, this has quickly become of one of the most sought after vineyards in California. This wine is incredibly dense and shows really grippy tannins on the front end, and then becomes utter harmony as the fruit kicks in with balance, power, and finesse. 2018 might be the single best vintage in the last 20 years or so in Napa. This is one that will age incredibly well, while performing at a high level in its youth.
