Vignerons de Florensac - Picpoul de Pinet

We've loved this Picpoul every year! It's a great price and the balanced palate screams summer. Piquepoul is a lively white variety grown mainly in the south of France in a region known as Picpoul de Pinet. A small inlet lagoon provides the vineyards with a touch of sea breezes while protecting them from too much wind. These wines are always bright and crisp with great acid, citrus notes and floral aromas. This wine would work for a picnic of light salads and soft cheeses, but is too delicate for heavier fare.
