The Arizu family has been making wine in Mendoza for five generations. These grapes are grown on vines that are over 150 years old in heavy, high yielding clay soils. Hand harvested and hand sorted, fermentation is then performed in large oak foudres. It does see some malolactic fermentation as well, in both stainless steel and French Oak. An elegant and floral expression of Malbec, expect to find notes of violets, brambly qualities and lots of purple and blue fruit. Pair with a charcuterie board.
