In 1886, Don Román Montaña became the founder of a series of master craftsmen in winemaking. Using a number of organic and and sustainable practices, his grandchildren continue his legacy today with great success. Growing vines which range in age from 30 years to 95 years, 'Vina Otano' is a 100% Viura. Tropical aromas of passionfruit and pineapple prepare you for notes of asian pear, raw almond, and lemon blossoms on the palate of this white Rioja with a balanced, medium-full body and a salty finish. We recommend inviting some friends over to enjoy this wine with light appetizers or shellfish.
