Moving from the city to be closer to nature in the Kamptal region of Austria, winemaker Davis Weszeli of Weingut Weszeli acquired Summerer Winery in 2011 and has been producing some of Austria’s finest white wines ever since. The foundation of this unique winery was built in 1679 with Davis cultivating high-quality Riesling grapes in partially clay soil with a long growing season. This has created an expression of Riesling that is dry with high acidity and a nice minerality paired with notes of pears, stone-fruit, and a floral finish. This white pairs well with salmon, Asian dishes, and seafood risotto.
