Fritz Wieninger is a leading Viennese wine producer and a member of respekt-BIODYN, an association consisting of internationally renowned European wineries who have committed themselves to producing wines of the highest quality and individuality using biodynamic methods. Frtiz is also a champion of Gemischter Satz, a traditional field blend popular in Austrian wine taverns. The grapes are vinified and fermented together, instead of being vinified as separate parcels and being blended together after the fact, giving this wine a unique expression and a wide range of flavors and aromas. Expect citrus fruit and ripe melon, along with herbs and white flowers, and a pleasant, mineral-driven finish. Pair this one with pork schnitzel, spinach and artichoke dip or mild, soft cheeses.
