Bodegas Yllera was founded in the early 1970's by brothers Jesus and Pepe Yllera.Today they are run by the 6th generation of family members and pride themselves on being environmentally friendly. To help avoid oxidation and loss of aromas, they exclusively harvest their grapes at night. This harvesting process coupled with they clay soils in Rioja give their wines a unique acidic and aromatic personality. This medium-bodied white blend is made up of 91% Verdejo, 3% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Chardonnay, 2% Viura and 2% Viognier and has tasting notes of yellow apples, peach and honeysuckle. Pair this wine with a spicy Spanish paella or smooth cheeses.
