70% Grenache, 30% Syrah
One of our favorite wines lately, this wine is produced in the upper part of Gigondas with black marl soils that were formed in the last Jurassic period. Like most wines in the region, the wine is a blend of Grenache and Syrah. The wine is aged 18 months in underground cement tanks before going into bottle. We love the finesse of this wine as well as the black pepper, lavender, cinnamon, and dried blueberry notes.
